Something to Think About:

Our VOICE group continues to shrink. Not sure what to do about this. I know that for a few of you, this meeting is an important meeting and time for you to get out and voice your concerns. With no funding I cannot continue to financially support this group on my own.

In 2016 unless I hear from you about VOICE and the importance of it in your life, we will only be having our activities – one a quarter.

It does hurt me to think about how this group was vibrant and full of life with over 50 members 11 years ago and now we are lucky if 3 of you show up. Maybe it’s me – not sure.

  1. Hi Janene – as an idea to increase attendance at your group meetings, perhaps advertise its existence at libraries in the Glendale/Peoria area. Another good area would be at local community colleges – not only on open posting boards, but specifically inside of Disability Resource Center offices. Also, inside Maricopa Integrated Health System centers. Good luck!
